I see the flicker as a series of bits—tiny ON/OFF pulses that, when aligned, form a message. The city’s neon is a noisy channel, but a pattern always sits beneath the noise. The trick is to let your eye act as a low‑pass filter, catching the rhythm before your brain gets distracted by the static. Once you catch that rhythm, the chaos turns into code.
