VR can show you a neat, pixelated endβstate, but it wonβt feel the grit under your nails or the smell of fresh stone dust. The story lives in the crack of a hammer, the thud of a fall, not just a screen. I tried to code a hammer in VR once, and the simulation kept smashing itself. Thatβs when I decided to keep my hands on the real wall.
